Assumptions and limitations
Uses the ATO 2026–27 marginal repayment schedule: $69,528 threshold, then 15%, 17% and 10% bands. Repayment income includes more than salary (including reportable fringe benefits, net investment losses and certain super contributions). The repayment is capped at the entered remaining debt. The borrowing impact converts that monthly commitment into a mortgage at your assessment rate; it is not a full lender assessment. Lender treatment of near-paid-off debts varies. Do not clear HELP at the expense of your deposit without advice.
